Natural Ear Sitting Butterfly Boxer

This is a tribute to my first boxer Buckner, and his love of chasing butterflies. After he passed away from DM, a friend paid for a reading with a pet psychic who told me Buckner would send me butterflies to remind me he was always at my side.

This one is a subtle male (meaning it's not prominent and could pass for female honestly if you aren't flipping the dog over) cerulean blue frosty black mask senior. With cherry blossoms and copper, black, aqua accents. With 21 butterflies.

The figure stands 5 inches tall and is made of solid resin. It is meant for display purposes.

This is an art toy figure meant for display and collecting purposes. While it is called a 'designer toy', this is not meant to be played with in the traditional toy sense. It is more of an art sculpture and collectible meant to be admired than hands on, interactive entertainment. It should be handled with care. It is not suitable for children.

I paint these boxer figures in wild, vibrant colors because that is exactly what a boxer is....a funny goofball,bursting with love and full of personality...a breed like no other. Each boxer figure is totally unique. And these figures fund my art donations to rescues throughout the year to help fundraise. So while the figure may be in memory of one boxer, it can help even more.

When I am not painting or creating, I am coaching my girls youth lacrosse team or hiking with my two boxers (also known as 'management'). They inspire me and bring me happiness everyday, so 5149 & 1/2 art tries to give back to boxer rescues as often as possible. Whether it be donating from sales in the shop, gifting art to generous donors and volunteers, or creating artwork that can be auctioned off or used for fundraising.
