Let me start by saying I am known as the boxer dog artist. That is my breed. That is my specialty. I can do other breeds but I do not do long hair/fluffy/etc. If you have a non boxer/bully breed please email me first or message me via social media. I will tell you if I can do your dog and if I cannot do it, I will recommend an artist that can in this price range.
The portraits are "Mug Shot Style"- showcasing the head and chest with a simple solid background. You get to choose the background color. If you don't have one in mind you can leave it up to me.
My current turn around time from placement of order to shipment is 4-6 weeks.

You can send me several. I don't mind dog pictures. Just try for pictures that are clear, good light, that really show off the face and eyes. Once I finish the painting I will send you a picture of it for your approval. When you are happy, then it will get packaged up and shipped via USPS mail.

I paint these boxer figures in wild, vibrant colors because that is exactly what a boxer is....a funny goofball, bursting with love and full of personality...a breed like no other. Each boxer figure is totally unique. And these figures fund my art donations to rescues throughout the year to help fundraise. So while the figure may be in memory of one boxer, it can help even more.
When I am not painting or creating, I am coaching my girls youth lacrosse team or hiking with my two boxers (also known as 'management'). They inspire me and bring me happiness everyday, so 5149 & 1/2 art tries to give back to boxer rescues as often as possible. Whether it be donating from sales in the shop, gifting art to generous donors and volunteers, or creating artwork that can be auctioned off or used for fundraising.
All items are handmade by yours truly within my studio in Gilroy, CA.
