I recently shared on our Facebook how this painting feels like a mess of everything that has been pent up inside my head these past few months all vomited on the canvas. Initially, I couldn't stand to look at it. Now I find a little peace in the chaos of it. It's what I like to think of as an artistic palette cleanser. Clearing the way for fresh work.

This canvas is hand-painted, one-of-a-kind. Beautiful, vibrant, unique abstract acrylic and ink on 8x24 gallery wrapped canvas with gold flake.

The sides of the canvas are painted to match.

It is varnished to protect from UV damage.

Each painting purchased comes signed and dated verifying that this is an original piece of art created by me.

This is the actual original painting, not a print.

The painting is shipped stretched and ready to hang.

My paintings are about lots of color and overwhelming the eyes. I want the viewer to notice new details with every fresh look, experiencing a range of emotions and unable to look away from the piece. My favorite materials to use: acrylic, ink, gold foil, glitter.

When I am not painting or creating, I am coaching my girls youth lacrosse team or hiking with my two boxers (also known as 'management'). They inspire me and bring me happiness everyday, so 5149 & 1/2 art tries to give back to boxer rescues as often as possible. Whether it be donating from sales in the shop, gifting art to generous donors and volunteers, or creating artwork that can be auctioned off or used for fundraising.

All items are handmade by yours truly within my studio in Gilroy, Ca.
