Fantasizing — Hand-Painted Art High-Top Canvas Shoes

This style of watercolor painting with the bold ink strokes came to me shortly after having my son — during the pandemic, in the thick of no sleep, trying to breastfeed, being a new mom in quarantine, worried about getting the supplies he needed and terrified of getting him sick. None of it matched the fantasy you build up while you're pregnant. Fantasizing is that gap — electric blue, pink, and yellow washes colliding with frantic, looping black linework, equal parts beautiful and completely unhinged. Chaos rendered in color.

Now that same energy wraps a men's high-top canvas sneaker — bold, expressive, and made for someone who isn't afraid of a little chaos.
